Jewelry Care Guide

Fine jewelry is made to be worn, touched and kept close. A little care helps preserve the surface, stones and structure of each piece.

Care at the atelier

For pieces that need a gentler hand, you are welcome to visit our Girona atelier for cleaning guidance, polishing advice and care specific to the materials of your jewelry.

Daily care

Put jewelry on after perfume, creams and hair products. Remove rings and delicate pieces before swimming, cleaning, exercising or sleeping. Store pieces separately so chains, gemstones and textured surfaces do not rub against each other.

Silver, gold and textured metal

Clean silver and gold gently with a soft dry cloth. Textured metal should not be polished aggressively, as strong polishing can soften the surface character that makes each piece unique.

Gemstones and pearls

Many gemstones can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, but pearls, opals and delicate stones need extra care. Avoid ultrasonic cleaning unless we have confirmed it is suitable for that specific piece.

Chains, cords and pendants

Fasten chains before storing them to reduce tangling. Suede cords should be kept away from water and oils. Pendants can be moved between chains, hoops, cords and bracelets, but always check that the attachment is secure before wearing.
